Which lubricant is best?

Contributor: kaykay0427 kaykay0427 01/31/2013

I want a lube that my boyfriend can use with his new Fleshlight plus I want it to be body safe for me. I heard that glycerin and parabens are bad for vaginal intercourse so I wanted to avoid that... although I don't know if I have an actual allergy to it yet. Which would work for both situations best?

Note: the first 3 lubes on the list have glycerin in them and #1,2,and 4 of these are out of stock but I still want to know which is worth the money.

I'm leaning towards the ID moments because it's a good price and it's glycerin and Paraben free... If Maximus was in stock i would get that one in a heart beat

I like the Sliquid line, myself! They are glycerin and paraben free.

not a fan of ID, it is ok but not the best. JO H2O works well.

I would say Sliquid. You avoid all of them and they are all quality lubes. H2O is my favorite while I hear Sassy Booty is thicker.

We use Intimate Organics lube and Bedroom Kandi, we absolutely love both. They're very body safe and fine with his toys!

Defense lubricant by Intimate Organics is so good. And it smells like roses.

It works wonderfully and can help reduce your risk of infection due to some of its special ingredients. so, beyond not having glycerin and parabens, it has health benefits.

Neither 1, 2 or 3.
Many reviews of Maximus indicate that it burns.
ID Moments has Sucrolose which is an artificial sweetner. Unless you want it for assisting in oral, I personally would be wary.

I would recommend Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant. It is water-based, all natural ingredients, glycerin and paraben free, and vegan friendly.

A few people mentioned Sliquid. They have a good ones too. They paired up with OhMiBod to make the Bedroom Kandi one.

What zombierella said. Avoid sugar, parabens and flavors and you should be fine.

Of those, Maximus. I'm not sensitive to most things, but ID Moments burned for me. Never had that reaction with Maximus, or it's sister-lube, Liquid Silk. Toko Organica, Sliquid, Intimate Organics, and JO all make nice lubes.

You would know if you have irritation from baby wipes or soaps if parabens or glycerin are allergy causing to you.

I'm a huge fan of Maximus but I'm not sure how it would be for use with a Fleshlight.

I have used maximus, H2O, Astroglide, and liquid silk. Out of those my husband liked the liquid silk best. He also has a flashlight(BTW). you want to make sure for all of your toys that are not silicone friendly are only used with water based lubes. It will prevent them from breaking down. Also, I like water based best because there tend to be less ingredients. We will have to try the ID moments and see if its as good as your votes are saying. I would say just experiment a bit. Go online and see if you can find a bunch of sample packs of the things you have suggested. A lot of Sex stores also carry many sample packets. It also might be cheaper that way. Thanks for your post. Good luck.
