It depends on:
- how much of that lube I would get
- what type of lube it was - if it was water-proof but still good for use with silicone toys I'd jump on it without a second thought. Shame that kind of lube doesn't exist (some silicone toys can be used with some silicone lubes but I don't want to even risk a patch test)
Again, if it were a good size bottle, and a really good lube, I might. I wouldn't spend $2.80 on a KY lubricant. I just don't think they are quality lubricants. (And the smell reminds me of working in OBGYN's offices.)
I pay $17.95 for a bottle of Sliquid Ride H2O water based lube. It's our favorite and you get 8.5 oz for that price. It also comes, for $11.95 in a 4. oz bottle.
I don't personally like lubes that have "tingling" "cooling" "warming effects or that have flavors. I like the tastes and aromas of sex, and I want a lube that won't deny me that pleasure.
Sliquid is absolutely without taste or smell or any bells and whistles. And completely non irritating. (OK, I already wrote a review for it, I will stop now.)
If it were an amazing lube and a humongous bottle that will last me a very long time, then yes. But my bf and I don't use lube a whole lot, except for flavored lubes/oral sex gels for blowjobs. He says I product enough natural fluid to lube a racecar

This. It'd have to be the right lube and the right amount.
I clicked yes, but I really should have clicked depends.
I love Pink Water, Astroglide X, Premium Lube, Wet Synergy (both cooling and non-cooling) enough to buy a gallon of any of them. Even less than a gallon for like $28.
But there are brands that I wouldn't even accept for free.
So I guess it really does depend.
For me it would depend too. It would depend the brand, the ingredients and the size of the bottle. If you're talking the KY Intense... NO WAY would spend that much on it. But if it were one of my favorites, like Maximus... then yes I would!

I'm with P'Gell on this. And the KY smell DOES remind me of the OBGYN's office!!
I would have to really debate all the aspects of it. How much am I getting? Does it work really well? Am I buying it because I'm allergic to others and there isn't any other option? I mean I'm not just going to shell it out because I can.
Only if I'm buying a whole lot of it I also don't mind spending extra on silicone lube because it goes a longggg way and makes PIV sex a lot more comfortable for me!
Yep, regularly. I spend $33.99 X 2 for an 8 oz tube of Hathor Aphrodisia Lubricant Pure every other month. This is the only lube we use, we use it for everything. My body is extremely sensitive to chemicals and this is the first one it has not retaliated against.
