Blow-Up Dolls: Do you like them or not?

PassionQT PassionQT
I think the "Real Dolls" are awesome, but inaccessible to most. At least you can buy a body part made of cyberskin if you can't afford the whole doll.

I had a blowup doll named "Joe". He took up spaced, and his cock was terrible! I would put my strap-on on him with a more comfortable dong.

Ew. It just makes me think about sticking yourself inside of a hard, plastic, scratchy, plastic.. thing! Haha. I wouldn't use one if I were a male and I've heard of some with 'attachments'. I guess it'd depend on the design.

Honestly,I would be totally weirded out if my b/f had a blow-up doll. He does have masturbation sleeves that I even bought for him....but dolls?...Just my feelings...

If you had a couple of thousand dollars, you could invest in a Japanese Sex Doll. They pretty much look like real women, are usually made of silicone, or Cyberskin (I think) and I would think (although I'm a women) they would be much nicer than a blow up doll.

The only time I have ever seen blow up dolls is in the aftermath of Bachelor's parties, and when someone got my Dad one, (at a FAMILY PARTY) for his 60th birthday! Talk about an "OMG" moment.... There were plenty of joke presents (he's the Man Who Has Everything, so he's impossible to buy for, so the gifts were mostly jokes) but, wow, he was really embarrassed, especially in front of his daughter (me) and his grandkids, and his nieces and nephews and his WIFE!

I think that they are all kind of creepy looking - you get these nice looking pictures on the boxes but the real dolls are always weird looking. I have never used one but none are at all appealing to me. I know my partner feels the same way about them. If I could, I would get one of those Japanese sex dolls for us to play with - but I would have to win the lottery first!

Not that I would judge a man for using one. (And I see someone already mentioned the Real Dolls, which I should have seen before I posted.) Gary makes some good points. Especially, An inflatable doll wearing a spandex bondage hood & an offensive metal band t-shirt makes a great addition to any room. Too cool! And the bondage hood would cover that "OOOO" mouth.

In the spirit of trying anything once, my partner has tried a female doll and I've tried a male one. They didn't do much for either of us, mostly because we couldn't get past the point of feeling totally ridiculous. He's not much of a fan of masturbators, either. I guess for me, if I'm going to use something non-human, I'd prefer a plain old sex toy... at the end of the day, a doll just can't live up to a living, breathing human being that's soft and warm and makes fun noises.

(Side note: we have a friend who owns a Real Doll. I've never seen her, but she made a now-legenday appearance at a bachelor party when her owner got very drunk and decided to introduce her to his buddies.)

I've never been able to understand inflatable dolls and have never had any desire to play with one. It seems about as fun as humping a very large, plastic beach ball (albeit with a hole in it). I can only imagine that they would be completely cold and lifeless.

Hubby and I bought a male blow up doll, for me, when my husband was gone for about three weeks for army stuff. It was supposed to be a doll to put in the bed with me to keep me company, while also give me something to play with while he was gone. The only purpose it served was to lay in bed with me. The doll itself was not fun to play with. I did love the big vibrating penis that came with it though. That I still use sometimes. So I do like blow up dolls (more for company in an empty bed), but then again I don't like them (because they don't serve their intended purpose).

I got one with the attachment, and it's great. One of my favorite toys. Haha. So sometimes that's the only good part about buying one!

Luxury silicone dolls are sort of cool... real doll, ruby 13, private island beauties, 4woods dolls, and lots of other makers do some dolls that while still somewhat in uncanny valley are genuinely beautiful and pretty impressive in terms of realism

Ruby 13 is expensive, but not as expensive as a real doll, and because she's stylized I like her a little better. I've spent a lot of time talking to sex doll makers, as I've been interested in building an animatronic centaur for awhile (I figured if I did that I could probably just ride him into the art world and kick ass)

I voted other because I've reviewed two boll up dolls and as stand alone toys they suck but as a holder for better masturbation sleeves they where kind of decent. So I basically think of blow dolls as an accessories for my Tantus stroker XL.

I am confused about them.

There is a big stigma (hope I am using the right word, probably not though) of owning one. I kinda would like to take the higher-end versions for a test..but I am nervous about them.. its odd. I like to do new things, experience new things, so I probably will get one, just getting over that initial stigma is going to be tough.

As aside note, if I had a real doll, if I didn't have to mortgage the house for it, i would for the cornstarch and renewal powder...

I think they're strange and just start giggling uncontrollably whenever I see them.

In 2007 I went to the Museum of Sex in NYC with a college friend. At this time I was still sexually inexperienced but was starting to think about it a lot more. The point of this is that we came across a display of those "real" dolls that were mentioned earlier, and the catalog for them was almost like an American Girl doll catalog (forgive me for totally destroying fond childhood memories). But seriously, you picked the eye color, skin tone, hair, whether or not you wanted to add body art, would it have clothing, what its name was etc.

Of course there was a doll in display that you could touch, feel and see what it was like. Said display doll in the NYC museum had a really prickly vagina. I can't remember what it felt like exactly, but I remember it being something like either sandpaper or the outside edge of a bale of hay.

Personally the idea of a blow up sex doll in anyway shape or form just doesn't sit right with me. I have personally never tried one but have friends who have and mixed results come back.
With todays modern age of toys and such theres many more better things to have"FUN" with then these dolls.

Also have you ever look into true realistic style dolls WoW is all i can say saw some when i reseached it and up in the 5k they got to. I was like WHAT!

tbh, I have never seen a toy for boys that did anything for me, and that would include blow-up dolls.

Sex dolls of any sort (blow-up, Real Doll, etc.) are creepy. Actually, the more realistic they are, the creepier they are. Those dead eyes...

I haven't tried them but I'm sure some of them are ok. I think people like to make fun of them... but really they are harmless enjoyment so what's the big deal.

I love seeing them in stores with their feet all folded up behind their heads. Cracks me up.

I'd try a guy one for the amusement. I've told some friends to chip in to buy me the gladiator one, but nobody ever did. I'd blow him up and see how far along the floor I could make him slide.
