Interpol Issues Arrest Warrant for Lupe Fuentes

So as the title says, last week Interpol issued an arrest warrant for Lupe Fuentes in connection to child pornography investigation. You can read about it here link and here link and on Wikipedia link

Fleshlight has pulled Lupe off the FLG list (definitely related to these changes, she was a top seller no way it is a coincidence) and is quietly clearing out their stock via a forum only link: link

So what do you think of this? What do you think of FL and other retailers pulling their stock of Lupe toys (and conversely other stores keeping them up? Would you buy a Lupe Fuentes toy after hearing these allegations?

Me, I had no desire for a Lupe product before and even less now. These are definitely serious allegations and I post this bit of news in part because I think people should be aware of them before buying.

I'd wait until the jury came back to make any big changes. I can think of few things worse than losing everything based on allegations and charges instead of proof and fact.

I agree with JR. Today's criminal investigations say you are guilty and you have to prove your innocence. I saw a husband and wife get arrested for child porn. They took a picture of their baby in a bath tub. They took it for memories sake. I still have pictures my parents took of me when I was that young. The world today has stepped off the edge, as far as I'm concerned!

Always guilty until proven innocent these days.

It's a brash move but understandable from a marketing prospective.

I was always put off by her and I don't have a penis, so my opinion doesn't matter as much. It's a smart move for the company. It's easier to apologize and take her back than it is for them to apologize to everybody who is offended if they stick with her and she gets charged with something.

personally... that shit doesn't sit well with me, even if she wasn't directly involved despite allegations, and her ex-husband was the douche-bag general, she still allowed (allegedly) content of child abuse to be hosted on sites she was the registered owner with(allegedly)...

i'm of the mind that you 1 don't fuck with kids and 2 you DO NOT *FUCK* kids

The response to this continues to be rather atypical for Fleshlight. They sent out an E-mail saying they are disconnected the Lupe Fuentes products with a link to buy them before they are gone. This is odd because: a) While they do send out E-mails when discontinuing their normal products I've never see this done for discontinuing a FLG product. b)It has in big letters "Lupe will no longer be marketed by Fleshlight.com", definitely not normal wording for a simple discontinuation of a product c) the sale is not on the main page clearly they are still trying to dump their inventory quietly.

Anyway if you still want her toy, pick it up soon.

The Tanner Scale (a "scale" based only on physical appearance, which Law Enforcement uses to attempt to determine the age of people, usually in pictures and videos) is very flawed. People go through puberty at different ages and what one person looks like at 10 could be an other person at 15. Also, as more people shave and otherwise remove their pubic hair and obtain breast implants younger and younger, the scale is further flawed.

I probably wouldn't have bought it before, but now I definitely wont be buying. In addition if I see it kicking around any shops that I go in, I'll probably ask them to pull it. This is definitely not something that should be taken lightly, and unfortunately there are too few convictions on shit like this as it is- largely due to the statistical majority of perpetrators being judges/lawyers/mayors/ directors and other people of influence.

It's such a shame that these get thrown in PC if they wind up in jail. They should throw them in gen.pop and let the inmates deal with it so that we don't need to pay to feed them after the first week.

I've never laid eyes on her before seeing this thread, but after reading this article from the AVN news site I am inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt with the new charges. She may be guilty, but I want proof before condemning her.

FL on the other hand doesn't have the luxury of waiting for an outcome because it's bad for business to be associated with child pornography, even if they had absolutely no hand in it. The stigma attaches quickly, so they need to distance themselves ASAP.

I think it makes sense from the company's perspective of protecting their image. I hope she is learning from this experience regardless of whether she is guilty or not.
