Depends what you want - they're both different sensations. The masturbators tend to be more "enclosing", the hand is more focused but can be tighter.

Choice of masturbator definitely matters.

You're correct, ScottA. I am referring to solo situations. Having just tried a masturbator for the first time, I was rather amazed to see how strong the orgasm was. So far, it seems like others seem to seem to have the same experience with masturbators. It'll be interesting to see what others say too.
