I have a 3D (spiral) and the Flip Air Black. The experience between the 3D and the Flip models are going to be slightly different. Personally, I prefer the 3D but I'm also not a huge fan of masturbators in general.
Flip Models:
Stronger suction
tighter/snugger fit (if sized properly-see below)
easier to clean and dry (my opinion)
Can control amount of suction
