I love certain colors, but most of the things I've bought have only haad one color stocked at a time, lol.

Never give a thought about matching colors. If I like a color & the toy I will get it. Some toy colors just don't appeal to me.

At first, I had planned on collecting toys in various shades of purple (since that would be easy to do as just about every toy is available in that color). I was motivated by rather OCD tendencies to have a color scheme. However, our illustrious Carrie Ann convinced me I needed a rainbow of colors in my toy box after reading some of her comments and reviews and seeing photos of her collection. I was in awe of her staggeringly huge and amazing collection and decided I needed a rainbow, too.

I have several colors I like, but there are some I avoid if possible. So I kinda have a color scheme... But it's more rainbow-rific than just "all pink"

Like, if you had a purple LELO Siri already and were checking out the Mona, would you get that in purple too to have a matching set? Or would you deliberately switch it up and get a different colour for the sake of variety?

I'm not too particular about matching my colors. I prefer, when possible, to have blue or purple toys, though the precise shade and look of the toy will effect my decision. I'm not crazy about green, red, or black toys (though I love those colors when it comes to clothing), and I like darker shades of pink over lighter ones
I guess the short answer is that I don't make any real attempt to match. I go by what color looks best on a particular toy.

If there's a choice in color, I tend to prefer the purples, however, my second fave is blue. Many toys come in pink, which I have no real control over if I want that particular toy. But I will say that most of my toys, not on purpose, are purple.

I prioritize GREEN AND ORANGE... then blue and red... if I have a choice, chances are I will pick green, then orange, then either a nice blue or a red... then black or white or purple... and only then, if all else fails, will I possibly consider pinks, or flesh colors. (fistshake)

If it is humanly possible to get something in metallic bronze or copper, that will be my number one choice. THEN green.
So I don't coordinate, but if I can get things in a nice metallic (so rare! I think the only nice metallic coppers I've seen have been the Tantus discontinued color!), green, or orange, or blue or red... basically anything but pink or flesh... but yeah, I lust after bronze/copper, green, and orange toys. Wood too. Mmm.

I choose my favourite colour of whatever toy it is I want. So those sometimes compliment each other... I'm really into metalic colours, and not so into pink and purple and baby blue, etc. When there's no other tone I'm interested in, I'll go for plain black.
There's a couple wand vibrators I've bought that aesthetically don't go with the other things. These are really powerful ones that I bought because I enjoy that kind of vibration (i.e. hitachi and mystic wand). They're allowed to not be as pretty, because I like how they make me feel. Heehee

I'd really like to have a rainbow, and I let that influence me when I can, but generally I'll choose the most appealing color on a particular toy. I wish there were more greens and yellows available, because those two are sorely missing from my collection. I really like interesting ones like Tantus' discontinued copper, too.

Lately it seems I've been on a pink obsession. Not sure why, pink really isn't a favored color of mine. However, I try to collect different colors because it makes me feel like I have more of a selection?
