I have a rabbit vibrator that's made of a "jelly" material and I'm not very fond of it. What's your take on it?

I've never bought anything made of jelly. You should steer clear of jelly toys also, they are porous and can retain bacteria even after washing. They leach phthalates, which cause a nasty odor, a greasy film, and genital irritation like a burning sensation. There are less expensive but safe silicone rabbits out there that you can try.

I've had a couple and they didn't stay around long..Even storing them as recommended, I thought they got sticky and I didn't like them. Won't be ordering any more of them.

I refuse to buy jelly for the reasons listed above, I also just don't like that they're so soft, silicone is my personal fave.

I can't stand jelly. The toys smell bad, and it hurts/burns to use them. No thanks!

I hate jelly toys, and they are very difficult to clean. They can never be sanitized either.

Will never touch any jelly toy ever. They are gross, and have harmful chemicals that are harmful to your body, plus they are porous and will hold bacteria and other nasties. Very unsafe. It's a shame though because alot of things are made out of jelly, especially the less pricy items.

I seriously hate jelly. I won't even use a toy if it is, because jelly gives me UTI's and that's not a thing I want when I'm trying to get off.

My first toys were jelly, but back then I didn't know any better. Now, I don't buy them because they are unsafe. I threw all mine out

Like many others, I have also phased out my jelly toys. There are better and safer materials out there so I prefer to buy those.

I avoid it like the plague. I didn't have a lot of jelly toys, but I have gotten rid of all mine, because I feel they just aren't safe. They are too porous and a lot of people get irritation and they are a good growth medium for bacteria, yeast and heaven knows what else.

My favorite anal beads were hard jelly, and they were really cute, but I bit the bullet and got rid of them. The idea that I could never really get them completely clean (despite the fact that they smelled and looked clean) bothered me. I miss my heart shaped butt beads. But, I think I'm healthier for getting rid of them.

I've never used a jelly but have been assigned a sil-a-gel item to review. I think I'll review the item but not keep the toy since I've heard some not so great stuff about the material. Personally this will be the first non-silicone toy that I've played with and I'll probably put a cover over it before using to be on the safe side.

I have used jelly in the past...and make sure to use a sex toy anti bac on them. I don't trust them because of the safety level so I won't be adding any more to my collection.

I've had a few awesome jelly toys in the past. Have to keep them neat and clean, but that's not a big deal. Most new toys are moving away from jelly, but I'm okay with that. I still like the TPR materials, and they are a bit safer. Silicone and I are still hit or miss. To be fair, even Jelly or TPR is hit or miss, as with any toy, but I tend to have more luck with the slightly softer materials.

I know I'm on the lucky side, I don't get any irritation from the material, which is what allows me to be broad in my selections.
