Does anybody else dislike metal?

jc123 jc123
I just really dislike having metal touch me. I don't like foil, paperclips, soda cans, silverware, etc. I cannot explain why, but I've always felt this way. I really want a Pure Wand but every time I almost buy it I remember it is metal and I decide I wouldn't be able to deal with it.

Does anybody else feel this way?

It's all personal preference. You need to try new things to decide what you like/dislike.

It can be that you have a mild metal allergy if there is such thing. I don't like metal either, it's not my cup of tea. I don't have a problem touching forks or knives or doorknobs.. If I need to choose between glass or metal I choose glass.

I love my Njoy toys. Even though they're all made of metal, I cannot relate my beautiful stainless steel sex toys with soda cans, foils, or silverware.

I don't mind brushed, coated or polished metal, but rusty metal makes me hand swell up.

Not sure. Never owned a metal toy. Interested though.

Hm. I don't mind it, but if you dislike the touch of metal to that extent, I'd check one out in a local sex shop before buying one, for sure.

I like metal, but it depends upon the comfort of it. Not liking all metal sounds like there could be some other issue at the bottom of your aversion.

Well, I wouldn't call you "weird" like the poll option suggests, but metal doesn't bug me. I've never tried metal sex toys, but I hope to some day. Touching metal in everyday objects (which is kind of hard to avoid anyway) doesn't bother me at all unless it's extremely, come-off-on-your-hands rusty.

I'd definitely try finding a local sex shop and seeing if they've got metal toys for you to feel. Might help you figure out if you really want one or not. If it's the shape you like, there's a glass toy called the Bobo that's extremely similar, though Eden doesn't sell it.

My grandma is like that but with plastic. She can't have any kind of plastic touch her, she just freaks out. She's always been like that.
