I have just finished the video review on the free Pink Performers Lust vibe, and I must say that I find the dot of silicone to try in the corner a waste of it! Not to mention that the entire toy has an AMAZING concept, but just fails as a vibe because of the below minimal buzzes!

Do you think "try me" pokeables are a waste of the material too?

Not really, they are designed to be sold in a store not online. So for store it's a great feature. Also if you're going to flame test your toy, it's always nice to burn the button before you flame test the toy to get a feel if it's going to melt. I always flame test both just in case, but atleast I know if im going to melt my toy ahead of time.

This came on the Bunny finger vibe(the free thing with any purchase right now).
I didn't mind it or thing of it, but you're kind of right. It is a bit of a waste...

But I guess for some people who don't already know of the feel of silicone this would be awesome.

No, on an online store yes. But having that in a store you actually physically go to is nice so you can feel what you are buying before you get it.

Useful for lube compatibility testing. Bad Dragon sells little pieces of silicone for that purpose.

Yeah, I like using the little samples in this way, too. Especially for toys that don't really have a good spot for patch testing.

nah, I think that its fine for them to do this. it definitely helps the buyer to decide on whether they want to purchase it it or not. If they are in a store. I see where it would be a bit unnecessary for online purchasing though. But I know that they couldn't foresee who is buying offline vs what is going to the stores. if that makes sense? lol.
