This is not even a question. I never use jelly, I'm a silicone lover.

Definitely missing glass and metal on this list!
Sure, silicone is, by far, one of the best materials for sex toys ever made. But switching it up sometimes isn't that bad

Years ago, my then spouse and I didn't know about the problems with various toy materials. We both learned quickly that Jelly was a no-go when it had absorbed the soap that we'd used to clean it. I've not forgotten the burning sensation when getting pegged by that toy.

That's horrific.

I'm just glad that I found communities like these before I ever got to have to experience something like this. Holy shit. The materials in these toys should legitimately be banned as health hazards.

Silicone, but modern plastic products are not much inferior to it.

The one piece of advice I offer anyone when it comes up, never get anything made of jelly. They don't tend to last long, it's porous and absorbs a lot of stuff, and in my experience, it tends not to last long.

The only time I would ever recommend a jelly anything is if you're not sure if you's like whatever type of toy you're working with, want to see if it's for you, if you're OK with replacing it with a better one later on, and if it's significantly cheaper than the other options. And even then, I'd advise going for something made of anything else.
