Thanks!

My only worry is the bathroom so I use some extra care there. Good to know an accident is not likely.

Wow - when my daughter's cat knocked her BRAND NEW icicle toy to our ceramic floor - it fell 31 inches and it seems like it shattered more than broke into big pieces like that. (I'd have to ask her).

Very interesting video - will HAVE to show it to my husband...he loves stuff like that.

Thanks for doing this testing! I had never seen one of these toys break before so it's good to know what it looks like when it does.

This was both entertaining and informative!
I couldn't help from going "Oh no! Oh nooo!" when the Icicles broke. I know it's for science, but...
In any case, thanks for the demonstration!

OMG! That was awesome. Poor Icicles No 2.

I actually dropped My Icicles No1. on the tile floor about 4 ft and it survived.

This was great! I always wondered how much the glass toys could take. I was pretty sure the No. 2 would break and the Duet wouldn't, so yeah. Awesome, thanks for sharing!

Also, your voice is very familiar, do you do radio or anything like that...?

Nope, no radio. Just one of those voices I guess.

Glad you like the vid.

Thanks for sacrificing two toys to the science gods. This was really great to watch. I've dropped glass toys from about 3 feet up onto a carpeted floor. They still look perfectly fine.

I'll have to link this discussion to my reviews on glass toys so people can see how safe it really is!

Please do, everyone needs to know how great glass toys are. Knowing they are pretty strong helps too.

I was linked this from one of the glass toy discussions and found it very interesting. I had no idea that glass toys (well, some of them, it seems) were that resilient. Puts my mind at ease a bit!

"That one broke." lmfao. I agree with you, it could've been the shape of it that caused it to be more prone to breaking. Great video!
