Running a forum search of "storage" turns up practically hundreds of results of threads of people asking each other about storage. Asking for ideas, some people even making their own... None have too many responses.

I thought a poll might be kind of an all-time easy answer for this---people who are happy with their toy storage can share, and people who aren't happy with what they've got can ask questions and get ideas.

Mine are in my lingerie drawer for now. I would like something to store them in before I run out of room in there. My drawers are but so big lol.

Right now I'm keeping my toys (well, some are on the headboard) but I have a (toaster-sized) cardboard box with most silicone and glass, and then one Eden tote filled with the remainder of silicone, another tote filled with leather/gear, and another (not even close to full) of batteries and toys waiting to find new homes. I have my dual density toys standing up in the back of the deeper drawers of my desk, and a couple tucked behind the books on one of my bookshelves.

I really want to find a nice, (wooden or metal) shelving solution. I want it to be big enough to fit everything (so it has to have someplace where the Cowboy sort of fits), and if possible, I'd like most of my dildos that are able to stand up to be standing up.

I got this neat jewelry armoire on sale a while ago, but the little drawers had all these extra dividers so no dildos fit Now I'm considering one of those 3'x3' cubes.

i found a hard plastic trunk for twenty dollars that is easily lockable. The only way it would be better is if I could put in a false bottom.

I have both the ToiTissue and the ToiBocks and honestly it just isnt nearly enough. I also need something that will fit large toys like a rabbit.

I actually need something that locks up but is also easily hidden. A supersized ToiBocks would really be optimal.

Why not go to an antique store and try to find a pie safe or hutch. You can also check out thrift and second hand stores and get awesome deals on buffet cabinets and china hutches. I have one with no windows, just doors I paid about $45.00 and it is relatively small, size of a bookcase.

I don't need the point, I am over limit anyways, just had to mark it. We use a trunk for DVD's, the hutch above for toy storage and segregation of materials and have another trunk for plastics, glass, lubes, etc.
We found an antique dresser at a yard sale that I covered the drawers with a high quality plastic sheeting and use that for toy storage, camera, camcorder and lingerie. Oh, wow, um...yeah we are kind of a bit overboard but it is just us at home now so what the hell!!

I just use my dresser drawer and the top shelf of my wardrobe. I do wish I had a better place to put my items and still keep the silicone toys from touching. (At the moment they're in the packaging they came in. Bulky, but it gets the job done.)

We just use a wooden chest that I picked up from a craft store and stained myself. Nothing fancy, just a place to keep our toys and such.

I currently keep my toys in plastic tool boxes - a large one for dildos and vibrators, and a smaller one for anal toys. It works out pretty nicely, but someday (probably when I'm out on my own) I'd love to have a closet or shelving unit just for toys.

I love all the different locking boxes that I have, and the pouches that I use are great too. The only thing that drives me crazy, is that I can't open one box without opening them all. It's a bit of a pain when you are in the mood and ready to play. Although it's a tricky system for nosey roomates.

I have two of these as well as two full nightstands and a full dresser drawer. I'm running out of space. I'd like to get a full dresser to dedicate to my toys, I think. The only problem with that is that it wouldn't lock and my son would be able to get into it. So that doesn't quite work as well as the wheeled trunks we have now. But the trunks take up a lot of floor space and we can't just keep buying more and more of them or we'll have to get rid of the bed! We're thinking we have to go upward, but haven't quite figured a way to do it in a locking, discreet sort of way yet.

Of course, I could just get see through shelving and totally embarrass my son when he's old enough to have friends over.

I have re-purposed the trunk that I used for book storage in college years ago. Until a few months ago, it was empty under the guest room bed. I decided to put it to use! I am glad I did, as it has plenty of room for all of my toys and future toys as well, and there is a lock for privacy. It isn't a perfect solution though. There is room for improvement.

My storage is nothing special, but I'm still pretty darn happy with it. I have a few of those clear plastic storage unit things stacked up in my closet. It's not the prettiest solution, but I like having something clear so it's easier to find things. I have all my toys, lubes, batteries, chargers etc. organized by category in each drawer. There are some containers inside the drawers to keep the smaller things from rolling around. I recently labelled all of my chargers too, which is turning out to be very helpful.

I used to use a lockable makeup traincase, which worked really well when I was starting out and had less toys and was more worried about someone finding them.

So I don't have kids... but I'm surprised by how many of you feel like you have to lock your things up to keep them away from your kids! We just weren't allowed in my parents' room... they could have been keeping anything in there. Heck, they probably were. But we never looked... we were brought up very strongly to respect privacy. They didn't go in our rooms without permission either.

Most of my toys are kept in zip lock bags in a giant cardboard box under our bed, the rest are standing up on a shelf in our wardrobe and a few favourites are kept on our bedside locker/drawer.

Nothing special but I find zip lock bags fantastic as a storage solution! A few years ago when I was less organised with my toys I lost a few due to materials melting on each other or staining each other.
