Smart balls review
Related to:
Well, I do not know much about them and I really would like to. I am not sure where to start. I read a fantasy about them and a lot of the post and reviews mention wearing them while out and about or even working out. So I would love to give that a try. I think I want some with weight and a cord that I do not have to worry about getting germy so...help please

I really want some also, and I'll probably be settling for these versus the Smart Balls or Luna Beads, simply because of size. I'm a pretty petite woman and I don't think I could use either of those products comfortably for a good amount of time. Plus, you can't have intercourse with the Smart Balls!

I'm not too worried about a cord, unless the balls are attached. I've had some, uh, "interesting" things in my vagina before that I was able to push out easily, so I'm not afraid to use a cordless set.

What do you mean by "getting germy"?

Some of the reviews said the nylon cords did not clean too well and so they had to throw the balls away sooner than they thought. I think I am going to get either the Smart Balls or the Desi. I don't really like the cord on the smart balls. It doesn't look sturdy enough and the Desi sit in a girdle and looks like a lot of work to clean.

I've only tried the smart balls, but I really like them. They're fun to wear out and about, as well as exercise in Smile.

I've heard good things so far about the balls by Ophoria.

I had a set of the Fun Factory Smart Balls but I didn't like them too much, I think I tossed them when I moved. If I remember I found the cord to be very slightly scratchy and the sensation of the weights inside the balls just didn't do much for me personally. Lots of other people seem to like them though!

I never thought they would ever be anything I would want to try but I have read so many great reviews on them I am so curious. I am not sure what they are suppose to do. Are they just a tease type thing?

My favorite set of Kegel exercise balls are the K-balls #10 by Ophoria. They are smooth and 100% silicone, so you don't have to worry about them getting germy.

The balls themselves are actually supposed to help women do something called Kegel exercises that help strengthen the pelvic muscles, and the pelvic muscles being strengthened can be a help in achieving better orgasms as well as preventing urinary incontinence in the future.

Whoops. Here's a link to the K=balls here on EF.

These are silicone, whereas Fun Factory's Smartballs are not.

I'm not sure but, according to Fun Factory, Elastomed is every bit as safe as pure silicone so I think the safety rating on EF might be incorrect.

I haven't found anything yet that says whether or not Elastomed can be boiled like silicone can. The materials guide on EF says to clean with cleaner and warm water, so I'm guessing not.

I would suggest taking a look at the Luna Pleasure Bead System (link). It has an interchangeable weight system so you can make it more or less as heavy or light as you like. I've not used this one myself, but it seems to have gotten some really good reviews and you might find it easier to use while exercising or walking around. The plastic weights and silicone "girdle" both look easy to clean and sanitize too.

My personal favorite is the traditional style of Ben Wa balls (link). You can read my review of them for all the reasons I love them, but what stands out in my mind based on the things you've mentioned is that they're very easy to keep sterile. They may take some practice to be able to use while exercising though, as their small size and substantial weight make them very effective at strengthening the PC muscles but also challenging to keep in at first. The smaller the balls and heavier they are, the more you will have to work to keep them in, and therefore the easier it is to work & strengthen your muscles.

The Luna Beads, while quality, are not everything they are hyped up to be. I personally find that having two waits is completely unnecessary and the loop for removal is just string.

Interesting, and good to know as I've been thinking about trying these myself. When you say that you find two weights to be unnecessary do you mean that there's not enough difference between the different weights? Or did you mean something else?

I see, fantastic review my dear! I'm glad I didn't buy these as I was very seriously considering it. ...Although I may still try them in the future... just not so immediately. Winking It's too bad they didn't make the balls smaller, as I suspect this would have made them a lot more effective and perhaps the alternate weights would have made more sense. I guess I was thinking they were a bit smaller for some reason but upon revisiting their description I see that they're a whopping 1 3/4"! I think the concept of an interchangeable weight system is probably a sound one, but only if there's a bigger difference between the two weights and if the balls were actually small enough to challenge your ability to hold them in...

For now I guess I'm even more happy with my little, metal Ben Wa balls!

I got great results when my pc muscles were so weak I could not feel them move when I tried. I worked hard with the Kegel Master and the Love Balls and got great results. My orgasms were powerful and my bladder control improved a great deal as well. I no longer feared going shopping and not being able to find a restroom quick enough.
I have not done my kegel exercises for a year or more and I am getting back to where I was. It has been a while since I have had an orgasm, I build to where I feel one coming on and it fades...that I frustrating! So I am getting back to the Kegel exercises.
I have been reading about vibration toning muscles. Would a long vibration wand inserted into the vagina for a few minutes a day help strengthen PC muscles? Has any research been done on this?

Thanks for all of the advice I finally got a set. Went with the Smartballs - Teneo Uno and I can't wait to get the Smartballs - Teneo Duo or Luna Beads next.
