I've been looking at getting some bondage toys for my SO's birthday surprise. I like the idea of the PVC bondage tape, but I'm not sure how they compare to satin-like rope restraints. We're new to BDSM, and I don't want us to get hurt... but I don't want him to be able to wiggle out of his restraints either. What do you guys prefer?

The ropes available here are very soft, and designed specifically so they don't leave rope burns--they're for use on people. If you want something that he can't wiggle out of (and he has consented to that), then the ropes are your better bet. The bondage tape is pretty easy to get out of. They're both pretty cheap though, so why not get both and experiment a bit?

I prefer bondage rope over tape. The tape they sell on here is too easy to wriggle out of for my taste.
