Im really interested in trying a steel toy. I tried glass and it was ok, but I've heard great reivews on steel. Looking for some opinions to help me decide.

I just got my first glass dildo!! I am so excited!! But I want to start doing temperature play, and I don't know how hot to get my toy. How hot would.

I love glass & thought steel would be another hard, smooth material I'd like to try. I'd also like to try the aluminum dildos by Tantus.

steel toys will feel the same as glass ones. So if you did not enjoy the glass one that much, you might want to skip out on purchasing a stainless steel toy. I have several steel toys, and we love using them.

I have some glass toys and really enjoyed them so I decided to get the Pure Wand. It has the same smooth feeling, but the weight gives me a totally different experience. I'm very happy with it so far

This is good advice.

I love steel but mostly because I love temperature play (the cooler sensations to be specific). Steel holds the temperature longer than glass does, which is especially important if you like the cooler sensations.

I have & I didn't hate it or even have a problem with the steel itself, it's the intense curve of Pure Wand that caused me so much discomfort. Most people love it, but I've found there is a couple like me who just have pain with it. But steel as a dildo material is great. I would love to see more steel dildos!

I love my metal dildo's and I have several, I also like the metal anal toys. It is wild how they heat up with use.

As others have said, steel gives a similar experience to glass. I love the look of my glass toys, but find that I can relax more with the steel. My partner and I don't have to be excessively (and probably unnecessarily) paranoid about the glass breaking. Steel also has a nice weight to it and just tends to look like it means business!

I said no but want to before remembering I have the Pure Wand. I've only used it once but love the weight of it. Believe me, the coolness is not as bad as you might think unless you want to temperature play with it. After washing I used it right away and enjoyed the smooth feel of it. My next steel toy will probably be the Njoy ones.

I have the Pure Wand and Pure Plug Large and both are great. They are pricey but so worth it in my opinion.

Steel is what glass wants to be when it grows up. The superior weight and temperature properties are worth it (I have the fun and pure wands).

I tried a couple and they were just okay for me. I'm planning on giving steel toys another shot though cause I tried them at a play party and I don't think that was the best environment for really getting to experience them.

It's a bit cold at first, and you need to make sure to warm it up before use, but other than that, I like it.

Whether you choose glass or metal heavily depends on your subliminal attitude towards both. In truth, they have little to nothing different, except that glass is slightly more receptive to temperature changes and conveys textures just a bit better. But metal does carry a connotation of something hard, unyielding - maybe, metal toys are just a little more "rough" than glass ones.
