Every year I lose my husband to his job for periods of time and we've indulged in phone sex quite often. I highly recommend a NOISY vibrator (just cruise the bees), my husband loved being able to hear what I was doing and the louder the toy the more excited he seemed to get. I'd like to note- be sure you're not on a cordless phone. We bought a high powered baby monitor last year and we actually discovered more than a few phone sex conversations (we lived in a military neighbor and it was during a period where a lot of people were deployed!). I will never forget one that I'm sure would have been very embarrassing for my neighbor if she knew we overheard their "make it bleed" sexual conversation.

By cordless, do you mean the phones that aren't attached to their cradle, but still have a place to recharge/"nest" when they're not in use? Or is this also an issue with cell phones?
I never would have imagined that a baby monitor of all things would pick up on phone sex!

Oh, and police scanners pick up cordless phone transmissions too. I don't personally own a police scanner, but there are enough rednecks around here with one - they've told me.
