I would go with something that is designed to please a woman that is small and isn't too obvious or intimidating. I love it when my hubby uses some of my vibrators on me during sex. I would suggest something small that is meant to stimulate the clit. If you can incorporate the toy during intercourse and she experiences the benefits of added stimulation to her clit, I bet she would be a convert. You may just create a monster!

Pocket Rockets. They are small, aren't intimidating in the least, but still pack a nice punch. I have the
Mega Mite and I love it. A big bonus for it (in my opinion) is that it is waterproof. In addition to using it during play with you, your wife can take a nice relaxing bath and play with it there and explore how it effects her in private. If she starts taking a lot more baths than she normally does... then you know she is enjoying her toy!
Another option would be a
Finger Vibrators. They are small, many are waterproof, and are a nice addition to any basic toy box. I have the
