Ahhh! No, no no! Eeewweee. That is certainly the most unique type of business I've heard of all week! But no, I would never, ever! I'm a huge cheapie and even I'd rather spend the money on toys than do that. There's no way I would be able to trust "but, but, but they've been cleaned... I swear!" Still. Things happen. Not to mention, I do not want to put anything on my cooter that's been on someone else's especially a stranger! Too freaky and way too risky. I honestly don't see how a business like that would hold up too long. I don't see many people risking that. It sounds very unsanitary.

The idea seems great for testing out more expensive toys, just to see if I'd like them before spending the money buuut...The ick factor is just really high, even for toys like silicone, glass, and metal.

You would be expected to clean it yourself - not rely on the other - you do that before using a new toy, correct? If there were 10 toys in front of you, 5 used and 5 new, I doubt you could tell the difference. A new toy has just been removed from a mold that has been lubricated for easy separation, the probably handled by 1 or more people prior to packaging - the world of manufacturing is not sanitary.

I understand that many would be offended by the thought, but the reality is far less risky than the concept.

That site, or one like it, has been around for many, many years. I would think something like this would have some sort of a cult following by now if it was real or even feasible to do safely. Most toys aren't safe enough to share like that though.

I don't think I could do this. I don't like the idea that someone else has used the same sex toy, even if I know for a fact that it is sterile. The idea just squicks me out. I'd rather save the monthly fee and buy my own toys.

Generic site template, all graphics are stock art and the home page is poorly 'shopped.

Maybe I would have fallen for it in 1998 back when PowerPoint themes seemed wicked sweet. :B
