Vaginal balls - do different sizes make a difference?

Contributor: Kat Shanahan Kat Shanahan
Hey all. I have a question about vaginal balls, so I'm hoping someone will be able to shed some light on this for me.

I own a set of Smart Balls already, and I have a set of Touche Dukes on the way. The Dukes have two different sizes of weights, one larger, one smaller. I think, from what I have read, that the bigger size is about the size of the Smart Balls. Also from what I've read, the smaller balls are more for beginners, whereas the larger balls are more "advanced".

Here's my question, though, because apparently I spend way too much time thinking about this stuff. *L* If a woman uses a the smaller size balls and squeezes/contracts the PC muscles around those smaller balls, and is able to actually feel that, wouldn't that make a huge difference? Like, to me and the way I'm thinking, being able to squeeze the PC muscles around the smaller balls would be more of a challenge...wouldn't it?

Maybe I've just got it all backwards. What do you all think?

I saw these really pretty glass vaginal balls with the flowers in them and I kind of want them, though I've never used vaginal balls before and don't.

For smaller balls its hard to know they are there at all. So you really forget to do them to be honest. When you can feel it you are actively thinking about them. At least that is how it is for me.

I find the smaller ones to be more challenging. The larger ones I use more for arousal purposes.

I have only used one vaginal exerciser (the Emigi) but I agree with you that a smaller toy would be more challenging. That's why I got the smallest one I could find. With a 4 3/4 circumference, Smartballs are thicker than many of my vibrators, so I really don't see how they could tighten my vagina. I actually have the Smartballs Uno on the way, but I ordered it for other purposes than kegels. I guess I will find it if it can actually work for me that way though.

This.

As someone who's never had babies or considerable stretching, smaller is easier and more comfortable for me if I want to "work" for it. Size and weight play a part in how effective they are. It's really trial and error. I own Smart Balls, Emigi, and Ami. The SBs don't get a lot of use anymore, and neither do the Ami 1 and 2 (the larger ones). Even the Ami 3 and Emigi are easy for me to keep in.
