I love the sensation of pinwheels, but they look a little scary to the non-bdsm crowd.

Would anyone have any recommendations for something, besides a fork or feather, that one could use for similar sensations?

I've used these scalp massagers, but they don't work to well on too many other parts of the body other than the head.

You can get plastic pinwheels, if that's less scary.

Toothpicks dragged across the skin provide a nice sensation. So do brushes with tough bristles and baking brushes (the silicone ones are cool!).

Plastic ones are a little less "scary", I suppose. At least they don't look like a medical instrument.

Oooo, silicone baking brushes... that gives me tingles just thinking about it.

I actually missed this pinwheel completely: Pipedream Fetish Fantasy Series Wartenberg Wheel

It looks a lot less threatening, since the ends aren't needle like.
