It is too loud for me and I don't use it unless I am home alone. I keep it in a drawer. When I get it out I have to plug it in before I can use it. If I lived alone I would keep it plugged in and I would probably use it everyday.

I don't own a Hitachi Magic Wand yet. I do have a few other wands, I keep them on the night stand right next to my bed.

It is attached to an extension cord that is plug in at the head of the bed and it sits in a large makeup type bag next to the bed. I actually use it on my husbands shoulder too!
