I just bought my first vibrating penis ring, the Double Vibrating Bullet Ring. Neither my husband nor I have ever used a penis ring, cock ring or anything similar. So... before we get started, I thought that I would just check to see what we needed to know to use it safely and effectively.

When exactly should you put it on?
Should you make sure to take it off within a certain time frame?
Is there a chance of it getting stuck?
Are there certain positions you should avoid while using one?

What other questions should I ask that I simply don't know enough to ask?

I've been reading a lot on the forums lately because I'm also new to these products. I've found the following:

1.Most people seem to suggest putting the ring on before the penis gets hard. Many people mentioned that the stretchy type that you linked can be put on later if you prefer.

2.Some people say 20 minutes, some say 30. Everyone says "make sure he doesn't fall asleep with it on!"

3.There is a chance that it can get stuck so having some scissors nearby to cut it off in case of emergency would probably be a good idea.

4.I don't know of any positions that you should avoid but I'm not sure.

That cock ring is used on the base of the penis, not around the balls and penis. You can use it that way, but the bullets can be better used if they are coming in contact with you during intercourse. Put it on before you put it in. You dont need to put it on when he is soft, because it is streachy. If your husband feels anything that hurts or just doesnt feel right, take it off. Do not leave it on for longer then 20 minutes. That should have been on the package. I would not worry about it getting stuck, because it is streachy. It could pull out some hair, but if you are worried about that just have him do some trimming. If you had picked out a hard plastic or metal one, then there is a reason to be worried about getting it stuck. You can use this ring with any position you want, in fact I do not see a reason to stay away from any one position with any cock ring.

It mounts to the shaft of the penis, it's only rubber so there should not be any safety concerns, unless of course it gets caught on something like a piece of metal!
