I think that the first thing to do is measure yourself and start reading reviews! You should NOT go with anything like metal or a hard plastic, but maybe silicone? You also need to consider weather you want it to vibrate or not!

Exciting times! We are just starting to look into cock rings too, and it does seem like a big scary world out there.

I took the liberty of making you a small comparison list. I kept the price range pretty low, so it will be more cost effective to try maybe a couple off the list that seem good.

Read the reviews, compare the measurements. These will all be nicer than the ones you're used to, I would imagine. (Even the cheapest ones.)

It would be a good idea to measure yourself too. If you have a soft tape measure, use that. If you don't, use some string (or anything else soft that you can wrap around yourself) and then hold the length up to a ruler. That will tell you your circumference. Here is a VERY handy circumference/diameter calculator you can use to determine your diameter once you have your circumference. (I use that all the time when I'm writing reviews on dildos. )

Anyway, that should get you off to a pretty good start. Happy hunting!

Congrats!

You're really going to have to experiment and try out different things for what works for you. You're going to have to figure out if you're a shaft only guy or ring around the whole package guy. Are you wanting slightly squishy or hard and firm?

My suggestion is that TPE Jesse Jane Pirates ring or even the EF vibrating ring. It's all up to you!

Have fun trying new things!
