Quesiton about Cock rings

I am wondering if perhaps I am.. "wrong" about the way we have used cock rings. We've always used very basic silicone/stretchy rings around just his penis or with one around his cock and one around his balls. I had always assumed this was the way it's supposed to be done but, glancing through reviews and the forums it seems like the case should be that cock rings are always meant to be worn around both the penis and scrotum. Or maybe there's simply no protocol for this and it's to each his own?

Actually, there are both kinds. Most cock rings that are constructed of a single ring are meant to be worn around the scrotum and penis both(this does include the metal ones too). There are some exceptions that are designed to only be worn on the penis itself but, it's just really more of a personal preference. Wearing a cock ring that goes around the penis and scrotum cause the scrotum to be constricted and further away from the body causing a delayed ejaculation where as a cock ring around the penis only just constricts the penis keeping blood trapped providing a harder, longer erection but, not necessarily a prolonged ejaculation. That's my personal experience anyway. I hope it helps!

Oggins said it perfectly. Wearing a singular ring so it's behind both the cock and balls is considered the "traditional" way to wear one. There are some that are designed strictly for the penis though- my husband prefers 2 cock rings- one for the cock and one for the balls- but since the Xtreme came along there's been no need... link

I prefer cock rings that go around the penis and the testicles. I thought this was what cock rings were supposed to be. It prolongs sex & makes him much firmer. Another really nice thing, the cock ring isn't on the bottom of his penis bumping into my vagina the entire time. We have a few vibrating cock rings that have a ring for the penis & for the testicles. We also have ones that came advertised as a cock ring that would be dangerous to attempt to include his testicles.
