The packaging advertises that the balls can be used as anal beads, but I would advise very strongly against it. They are made with a small opening in the jelly where the balls can pop out, and the "cord" the beads are embedded in is also fragile and easily broken - both scenarios would result in a less-than-sexy scenario. As ball "bouncers", they're perfectly safe, but if you want an anal toy I'd recommend one made specifically for that purpose.
