Do you ever worry someone will look at your sex toy storage container and think I bet there's sex toys in there??

Yeah cause mine are in a glass display cabinet....lol.
So I clearly don't care if they see. They might learn something!

I personally like this storage box and have considered it multiple times!

I'm not concerned about it. I live by myself, and I don't have to worry about privacy issues until/if/when anyone ever has to help me move out, which won't be for a long time. Even if my parents are helping to move things, most of my FYN cases are inconspicuous enough that they won't draw a great deal of attention and just look like large makeup bags.

My Devine Toychest is a lot more noticeable, but I've had people over and none of my friends has ever commented on it so far. I will say that, the first time my boyfriend was over, it was sitting on the ottoman and he said, "I'll move this thing out of the way". I've since shown him what it really is.

Lol they shouldn't be looking through my stuff to start with. No, I don't think it would bother me.

Haha I'm not worried, but if sex toys is what first came to their mind when they saw my box, my guess would be that they probably had a few toys of their own hidden somewhere :p

My biggest concern is my kid finding the way into them. Tricky, that one.

I was over at my sister's one day when I saw a huge gray plastic storage bin on the floor of her closet marked, in huge letters, 'STUFF'. I asked her, 'Hey, what's in that box, your sex toys?' She turned red. Very prim and proper, that sister of mine. :p ~ Arms

I don't really worry all that much, you would have to go upstairs, which is only my bedroom, bathroom and a storage room, then go in my bedroom, then open and go in the closet, then move the plastic drawers full of clothes out of the way, the open the cardboard moving box and plastic tackle box to get into them. So there are only two kinds of people that would find them, people who are being WAY TOO nosey for their own good and kids. If someone comes over with kids and I am actually worried about it, I will just pick the boxes up walk the 20 feet into the storage room and then lock the dead-bolt on that room.

No, if they find them, they've clearly been snooping where they don't belong and they got what they deserved!

I'm not worried about it, I'd even show a toy box off if I get a nice one to some of my friends.

At one time, I really tried to hide my toys. My collection has grown so I use shoe storage containers with see thru tops which are under the bed.
Sometimes toys are in the bath room, awaiting cleaning or a harness may be over the shower bar. If I expect company, I put things away but there seems to be always something I miss that is charging or lube on the nightstand.
I really don't invite guests to my bedroom, and in our present place, the bathroom is not off the bedroom.
Locking toys up would just be too much trouble for me and I would probably misplace the key.
When I was in college, living in the dorms, I think I only had three toys in total.

I'm not too worried about it, as I live alone and rarely have company. If I was going to have company I wouldn't want to see it; I'd just cover it/them up in the bed or stick it/them in the closet, no need for special storage. If they see what I have, oh well, guess they shouldn't be so nosy.

I live with my family and my brother Wayne is always going into my room to talk on the phone I'm always worried he'll look under my bed and say "hmm, I wonder what is in this brown delivery package?. . . . what the. . ." and that he'll just blab my business to the world, lol. So I'm in the market for a storage box. I love things that double as other useful things so this would be awesome.

If people are snooping through my things, they damn well deserve to be shocked by what they find and it would be the last time they were in my house.

I keep them in storage containers mostly for organization purposes. Some of mine I keep out in the open. I don't personally care what anyone thinks.

I keep my toys in a plain rubbermaid toter that I bought at Target. I seriously doubt that many people would look at this simple storage box and wonder if there are sex toys in there. And if for some reason, they look in the box and see my sex toys, well... I don't really care.

I worry. I'm 26 and stuck at home cause I'm in school (late start, yeah I'm an idiot). I also get this insane amount of guilt from my entire family (immediate and extended) if I mention moving out.

Hopefully in the future I'll get my money together and run off with my bf :x

Edit. Just mentioned this cause..well.. it happens..
I was raised without much knowledge of sex and whats normal to feel so I always was ashamed of my urges and "wants".

I'm not very worried at all. My toys are currently kept in a large toolbox tucked between the foot of my bed and the north wall of my room. Toolboxes don't immediately suggest "sex toys," and it's impossible to see unless you actually go over to the end of my bed. Even if he were to spot it, my dad's not one to pry, and at most he might just ask, "Why do you have a toolbox?"

Though to be honest, I'd probably just tell him if it came up. I don't think he'd be upset that I have toys, but I've never mentioned them. It's like saying, "Hey, Dad! I masturbated today!" Awkward, much?

Someone STOLE your sex toys! AIGHH! Oh my. Lol I'd say they must've been mighty desperate. Lol. You poor thing. I'd be ready to bitch slap someone for taking mine! Ha ha. Anyways, I can see why that would cause you to be concerned. I wish I could help, but I don't have much advice to offer here. But I have started looking into better places for my toys because I'll tell ya, for some reason sex toys really grab the kid's attention! I'm not even kidding. For some reason as soon as I get a new toy I'll have it out by my bed since I'll randomly mess with it and play around just to get a better idea of it and of course I'll use it too. But it'll hang out unhidden for a few days. Bad idea! The kids all of a sudden forgot how to knock on a door before entering this summer and it's an awful habit. They've never caught me, but there's on who is so damn interested in my toys! I'll have it in my open black storage boxes that sit on my bookshelf next to my bed and even my Cleo was UNDER the bed and as soon as he walks in he spots them! I don't know how. Its like he has toy radar. Lol. Anyways, it seems anytime a toy is in that box or under my bed he automatically sees it and is drawn to it! He'll walk in and say "Hey, can I... OH MY GOD THAT IS SOOO COOL! WHAT IS THIS THING!" Ha ha. That is his words every time. Once a vibe that is very obvious, the luscious thrill-her to be exact was in that box and he radomly stuck his hand in without looking and pulled it out! He said "Holy crap this is awesome! what is it!" I don't know if it's the colors or what, but I've got to find some other way to store em. He's a digger. He somehow ends up digging in the private drawers. He really doesn't mean to, he'll just be talking and dig around. Anyways, the other day Cleo the bath toy in bright orange was under my bed and he managed to spot it from the door! He snatched it and said OMG! This is soo cool! I usually snatch them from him and make up an excuse. But Cleo wasn't ever used when he spotted it thank God. He grabbed it and asked what it was I always tell him it's something I'm holding for his aunt! Ha ha. I guess it's easy to blame the dirty things on your sister even when you're grown! Ha ha. I told him it was her very expensive back massager that she wanted me to hold for her until she came back by. Not a good excuse, but it worked!

Thankfully, Cleo doesn't look much like a sex toy at first sight so it worked. He ended up turning it on and rubbing his back with it. One of the girl's shes only one and she was here when my snuggle puss first arrived and of course she was drawn to it too! I don't know what it is.

Anyways, I never worried about it until the kids became nosey. Now I make sure they are always clean incase they do snatch them up and I have been looking into storage options. The tissue box is a good idea, but if the lock is obvious that will definitely make people want to get inside it. Now if the tissue box didn't have a lock that was noticeable then nobody would ever suspect. Anytime something has an obvious lock it draws attention.

My opinion usually is, you shouldn't be snooping through my belongings so if you come across something then that is your fault for disrespecting my privacy, but when you have kids it's very different. I really didn't need to bother with hiding them until they got nosey. I don't like that they can come across them and want to touch them. But I don't want to go hysterical and make them curious so I simply say "Hand it over! We don't invade people's privacy!" Oh, and then I say "Uh...uh.. it's your aunt's I SWEAR!" Lol.

I really haven't looked around at the storage options for very long, but I remember seeing one that looked nice. It was on Tabu Toys though. EF may have it. It's a long lock box in pink and different colors. Looks almost exactly like one of those lock boxes for make-up. I have been storing mine in a book bag in the closet hoping the kids don't think to look there. But I like to keep one or 2 in my box near my bed so it's easier to get to. Unfortunately, I don't want to spend a lot of money for a box that only holds a couple. Then you'd just have to buy a whole bunch of them and end up taking way more space and money. Maybe you could try one of those big make-up cases you can find at wal mart. They have a key to lock them nobody would suspect that, I'm sure. At least that is a cheaper option if you are looking to keep theives away, just don't leave the key around! Lol.

Another hiding spot I like is inside the pillows and stuff! Those are wonderful ideas, but I was reading reviews on them the other day and the pillows barely held much and they really didn't seem worth the price to me. If you're interested in investing in a liberator shape I think those have zippers to hold your toys, but they probably don't lock.

Eh...my mom knows I have toys. I've left them in the bathroom before (they gotta dry, and I have a short attention span.) And my ferret has a lovely habit of stealing my toys, stashing them for a couple months so I stop looking for them, and then dragging them out for my mom to find.

My mom also knows I have a toybox. I would up telling her about it (sort of) when I left the package slip on the counter.

I also know where my mom keeps her toys, which ones she has, and how much they retail for at my shop, so...I think we're even.

As for strangers...we don't have company over often, and even when we do, people don't go in my room. Period. I'm sure, because my toybox sits at the end of my bed, that someone might think it's for sex toys, but I don't really care. I work in a sex shop now, so...I've gotta do some product testing. However, I would take issue with someone just opening up the toybox without my permission.
