Do you think Eden will ever sell strip poles?

Probably not. Maybe soon though because they're really updating their selection, but I had been requesting the fitness poles for about a year when we'd do "eden should carry..." I finally bought one several months ago and I must say, it kicks my ass! Worth every penny though. I've got muscles that I didn't even know existed. I never realized how hardcore the pole was. However, I have had several injuries from it. It seems the metallic finish wasn't smooth and I ended up with the "steel" in my hand. Nearly got infected because it was too deep to remove it all. I finally recovered I have had other less than minor injuries though so I've had to take the week off. I cut myself off. Lol.

If you're really interested in one and you think you'll end up really putting it to use, I would just buy one instead of waiting for EF to get them. I mean if you REALLY want one, you'll find it to be worth it.

I agree with you and Eva. It WOULD! Those things are heavy. I don't remember how much I paid to ship mine, but my total was a little over $100. Not a terrible price, but I don't remember exactly how much shipping was. I can see the shipping being something that causes a major hassle though and now that I saw Eva's comment, I realize that there are a lot of people who would have to pay A LOT due to being located in CA or elsewhere. I guess that makes sense now that I think about it. I wouldn't have paid any more than what I did for mine. If the price would've hit $200 for mine, I'd have refused to buy it.

You can find them in-store though, at certain places. Just be sure you KNOW what you're getting.

Here is another DIY club project!! And you can shine the poles up real nice if you wanted to take the time. Buy some Turtle brand Chrome Polish and get to work--it is amazing on old, rusted dirt bike parts!!

I know, right? lol I actually started a thread about this but there was not much response to it. I found some great ideas around the web and some had some great ideas about the finish, everything from polishing it to painting with textured paint (for grip). Best part is, like most of my ideas, is that it can be bought and made for pretty cheap.
