I am just curious. If Eden Fantasys had an inventory of stripper poles, would you purchase one. I have researched and the ones I have found are anywhere from $99-$299. I would love to see them carry the Electra Pole which runs $129.
I have nothing against EF carrying poles, but I have no interest in them.
This is pretty much my opinion.
Most stripper poles out there aren't rated for a girl of my size and the ones that are, I would have no place for. It's just not my style, I guess.
I used to poledance for fitness about a year ago and thought it was great fun and really got my body kicked into shape fast, so I'd be very interested in a pole. However, I'd want a 'real' stripper pole, one that can hold body weight and actually works properly instead of the cheap, 'Look you can pretend to be a stripper!' sort.
I am interested but probably would not buy one. For a pole to be really useful, it must be securely anchored which precludes my present place. And...how the hell do you pass off or hide a pole from guests? I have enough of a problem with my toys though I am more relaxed about having them around at present and don't always hide them.
I wouldn't use a stripper pole either - just not my thing. I agree though, that poles should be fastened to the ceiling and floor - the pressure held poles would make me nervous. That's not exactly an accident you want to have!
An aside, when I was a kid, I so wanted a fireman's pole to go from my room down to the first floor.
I have no place to put a strip pole so it doesn't matter to me if Eden carries it to me.
However, as an aside when I dormed during my under grad one of my friends had a strip pole in his room for a while. He made the set up himself; he made a relatively large (for what can fit in a dorm room) platform weighed that down then attached the pole to that.
I think that if i had one that was just out and really couldn't be explained away easily, I'd cover it in carpet. With a carpet covered stripper pole, I'm sure my cat would enjoy the 7' scratching pole
I live in an appartment, and I have no one to dance for. So, no poles for me. And then, if I would ever strip for someone, I would probably use regular furniture.
My boyfriend considers strippers a tease, and if I'm not stripping for him, then who AM I stripping for? I'd consider doing it for exercise, but I'm such a lazy computer spud that I'm sure any stripper pole that came into my possession would just collect dust.
Although I had a very bad experience one of the two times I went to a strip club, it is totally my thing. I watched "Striptease" so much as a child that I wouldn't be surprised if I've seen Demi's nude breasts more times than Ashton has.
Anysnooch, don't you guys watch InfoMania on Current TV? Didn't you see all those people falling off their stripper poles? Even super stable, club-grade ones can be dangerous but the kind that could/would be sold here are twice as bad. I say "nay" because I just don't want any of my fellow EFers getting injured.
I'd love to have a stripper pole. NOT a pressure one (I hate any poles that are put up like that, like shower rods...ugh), but a floor and ceiling fastened one.
I'd reeeeally love a high quality stripper pole. Like Sir said, I'd want one that really fastens in: would hate to be in the middle of some complicated move and have it flip over.
I think stripper poles would be a cool addition to the product line. Pole dancing classes are on my "to try" list. I think it's something I would totally get into, but I have no idea where a pole would fit in my house.
I think stripper poles are great I dont currently own one. I live in military housing... but when we buy our house oh yeah!! Not only do they spice up the bedroom but thier great exercise!!! And im all about staying healthy
I would totally get a stripper pole if they carried them on here; in fact I want one reallll bad! lol. I wonder if it could fit in my apartment without tearing the cieling apart. Wonder what the maintenance guy would say when he came to fix stuff lol. I could always put it at my soon to be partner's house
