I was just curious - Jimmyjane has changed the style of the Afterglow candle to the "pour spout" that's rocked by the Ember. Is EF still selling the old style with the brush as indicated by the picture?

FYI I'm in favor of the pour divot format!

The new version features a spout for easy pouring and that is what currently available on EF.

The candle I received had a spout on it. Made it really easy to pour out.

Hm. Hopefully they'll get the ones with a spout soon.

The current ones they sell on EF have a spout and are incredibly easy to pour. I personally love the Pink Lotus scent. It's floral and delicate.

So there's not a brush that comes with it?
I'm interested to know if a lack of brush is seen as a flaw in the product, or if it just wasn't being used anyway.

Most of the reviews I read that mentioned the brush seemed to describe it as messy and/or just not that helpful.

Because the wax/oil is massage oil it melts before it reaches a temperature that could burn you, so you don't really have to worry about pouring it directly on the skin while it's "too hot." At least that's what reviews and the product description on the JJ website seem to indicate.

I personally think I'd consider the lack of brush and standard spout a definite bonus or improvement.

I have the versions with a pour spout and it is much easier. I never thought it needed a brush, since it feels so nice being poured out.

I notice with some candles they start smelling like ash about halfway through use of the candle. Does the scent last the entire time with this one?
