Are Lelo toys worth the high price?

SouthParkFan SouthParkFan
I have been considering buying a Lelo toy but I am hesitant due to the high price. I worry what if I don't like it. So are Lelo toys worth the high price? Please only vote if you have actually used a Lelo toy.

I voted no---but I really mean "sort of no."

I have tried the Ina (MSRP $155) and the Ella (MSRP $40). The Ella is awesome---it's just a dildo, though, no motor.

And actually, I assume that I would like one of the normal, one-motor vibrators, like Gigi or Mona. But the Ina? It had two motors, and you couldn't control them separately. For me, the clit motor was way too strong, and the internal motor was way too weak. If I could have controlled the motors separately it would have been amazing---instead it was awful.

If there was just one motor, though? I guess they would probably be worth it.

The fact that most of them aren't waterproof is a big bummer, though.

I have a negative review of the Ina as well. My complaint stemmed more from the design of the small arm.

I don't think you can judge a toy too much by what a *few* people say about vibration though. What's super strong for some will be super weak for others, so just try and know what you're looking for and if you can feel the vibration in a store do that.

However, I DO think that most LELOs are worth it. They're very well made out of high quality body safe materials, are rechargeable and have a great warranty. Mine are perfectly strong and I adore it. There are also not TOO many brands that I feel make truly comparable products. Jimmyjanes are water proof but have visible seems that some people say they can feel, and there have also been reports of "glitches" and different things, yet they're more expensive. Jopens are also water proof but the silicone isn't as buttery smooth and has more drag. Fun Factory toys are great, often at a lower price point, but not quiiite as high quality in my opinion, and they have a ton of designs/shapes that you may or may not like.

Lelos are straight forward. Reliable. Well made. Last a long time if you take care of them (which isn't that hard). Have a great warranty. Work. Did I mention they're pretty?

It just depends on what you want, really.

I'm in the sort of no camp as well. I like my Lelo's. The silicone is nice and the battery life is good. For me, the motors are ALL too weak. If I'm going to spend a lot of money, I want a lot of power. I also think they could be a little deeper in terms of vibrations. They aren't buzzy, but they could be better. Out of the ones I have I liked my Gigi best and mostly because of the shape and size and nothing to do with the features that make the price so high. If the vibrations were better, Gigi could easily be a favorite toy of mine but it's so weak it just doesn't make the list. The Soraya is stronger than Gigi but still not strong enough and Nea was a joke in terms of power. I do love my Luna beads and think they were worth every penny, but that's not a vibrator.

Hm. I only have the Gigi, and I'm midway on whether that was worth the ~1/2 price I paid for it.

I have 3 of their toys (Mona, Siri, and Gigi) I would say that 2 of the 3 were worth the money for me. I use my Mona and Siri several times a week and have done so for over a year. Gigi just didn't hit the right spots for me though so it wasn't worth the money to me.

I have the Ina which is wonderful, but the arm applies so much pressure to the clitoris, so buyers beware. I plan on getting more Lelo toys soon because they really are such great quality.

Lelo toys are wonderful - really high quality and thoughtfully designed. The motors aren't the strongest, but the vibration patterns are very nice, and They have a 1 year warranty, so if anything goes wrong they will replace it. They also have a 10 year guarentee, so if your toy breaks within 10 years, you get 50% off a new product. They really stand behind their products. I've heard great things about the Gigi and the Siri, they're both on my list. So far I have the Ina and the Ella. The Ina didn't work for me, but I adore Ella!

I have 6 Lelo toys and another one on its way. I LOVE Lelo toys and definitely think they are worth the price. They are some of my top toys.

They use good materials, everything functions smoothly, but like any sex toy, the price isn't worth it if the toy isn't a good fit. My favorite vibe is my $23 Osaki Beaver rabbit. Guaranteed Orgasm with that one, for me at least.

I don't think anyone else offers a comparable warranty to Lelo, which says a lot about their confidence in their quality. I just wish they'd quit with the gold coloured plastic bits they've used in the Sense Motion and Insignia lines. It cheapens the toy. The plain white plastic from earlier lines was better, or they could even, Idunno, try a full silicone coating like all the other luxury toy makers?

That said, I love my Mia and Lily, and consider them both worth the money.

YES! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!! Ohhhhhh my god yes. Beautiful, great quality, great materials, good warranty. I love the way they look and feel and their silicone is by FAR my favorite. I'm a loyal fan. There are some designs I can just TELL won't fit my body right, but that's just going to be the case with any line.

Definitely worth the high price. I've gone through quite a few high end/high price brands. I like Lelos the best. They make you feel spoiled with the simplest details

A comment about the Lelo price. I'd recommend looking into discounts/coupons etc. I love my Ina, but then again, I bought mine for around 70 dollars. I've never bought a Lelo toy at MSRP (or even close). I recommend wait for it to go on sale. Lelo is one of the luxury brands that's constantly being sold for a lot less than the MSRP.

I love, love, love my Nea. Right now it's my favorite toy! My suggestion is to wait for it to go on sale and use your Edenpoints.

mine was totally worth it while it worked and would have still been worth it if i had actually taken advantage of the warranty to get it fixed. If you get one just make sure you keep all the info on the warranty in case you ever need it.

My wife has the Lelo Insignia Soraya and loves it. It has replaced all of the other rabbit style vibrators we have used through the years. Well worth the price.
