I'm sooo disappointed. I got this to surprise my bf. I was going to be cheeky and hand him the remote when we were in a (suitably noisy) public place and let him figure it out.
Sadly, though it worked perfectly the first time I tested it, when I got it out today to start on the review, the remote control had stopped working. It would send signal maybe four or five clicks and then fail. The egg doesn't have any control other than the remote, so you have to unscrew it to turn it off. I kept trying - it would consistently work for a few clicks, and then stop.
I even unscrewed the remote to check the battery. My battery tester says the batteries are all at full strength. So I put it back together and tried again, hoping somehow the remote had reset itself from having the battery removed.
No luck.
I guess I won't be reviewing it, since we aren't supposed to review defective products, but I put in a support ticket to be sure. Either way, I won't be giving it to my bf on our naughty trip we had planned next week.
I read up on every wireless remote product out there, and this one seemed to have the best reviews. Are there any out there that really work? I'm just gutted that this one didn't.
