Assuming you have a decent-sized toy collection, do you find yourself sticking to just one or two favorites, or do they all get used at one time or another?

i have way too many that i continue to add to... so many most are still in the pkg never opened.. i have 3 that i love and use all the time though...

I think you're in the right direction in researching and reading reviews. To narrow your 400+ I would probably set a price range, exclude porous materials, and look at versatility (some work well for various kinds of stimulation). It depends on your living situation too. If you have roommates or children you may prefer a quieter toy. I have developed a collection over a while and enjoy having a couple to choose from for different kinds of stimulation e.g. g spot vs wireless.

It depends. If I want some fun experimental playtime where I try to familiarize myself with newer toys or toys I don't use as much, then it tends to be a bit of everything. If I specifically just want to blow of steam or take care of a "problem," I tend to pick from the same five or so toys that I know can make me orgasm. I often switch between those toys, though. I will say that if you are looking to start a collection, you should definitely a) read reviews, and b) learn from what you like about toys you've already tried. For example, my first vibrator didn't have enough girth for me, so with a bit of trial and error I managed to figure out that I usually prefer toys with 1.25-1.5in girth; that's now one of the first things I check when I see an interesting new toy.
