I'm just curious. I've never bought two of the same toy to have both colors, but I've considered it.

There have been times that I've been just slightly tempted, but I haven't. I prefer to fill my toybox with different sorts of toys, rather than the same toy in different colors.

My wife and I have thought about it, because one was her favorite, and she really wanted to have a spare/backup, but couldn't justify the expense.

Do backups count? I haven't done this yet, but I'm seriously considering buying a backup of one of my favorite toys. If I do, I would like to buy it in a different color.

I've been tempted, since I often find myself liking two colors so much that it's hard to pick. But I need to be frugal for a while, and there's other toys I want to try out, so no repeat toys for me for some time.

I've considered buying a black G4 Big Boss because the orange is just so orange. I'd probably end up giving the orange to someone else though, and not end up with two.

I have thought about it, but would only buy another one if 1) I wanted to use both at the same time, or 2) the first one broke. Then I would replace it with the color I liked better.
