Plastic is not bad. One thing I do like about it is that you can use any lube you want with it. Still...most of my toys are either silicone or glass.

Plastic is fine, especially nice smooth kinds like ABS plastic. It doesn't feel as expensive and luxurious as the materials you mentioned, but it's still functional and safe.
