They're not particularly strong, but they aren't cheaply made either, at least in my opinion.

I was wondering the same. I have a set of clamps that work alright for me, but I've always wondered how well the tweezers type work.

I have those, but in purple. I've fiddled around with them, clamping them to my fingers and whatnot, and I haven't been able to bend them. Mind you, I haven't been actively trying to bend them...and I don't really want to. Don't want to damage them.

Definitely nowhere near as flimsy as bobby pins.
