I'm thinking about buying a vibrating cock ring, but they look kinda like they'd be more in the way and uncomfortable than anything.. Do they really work good or are they more in the way?

It really depends on the specific cock ring. Some work really well, some don't really do anything, and each one works differently for each couple. I'd read reviews to see which ones work better in general and go from there. I've had a few cock rings that people raved about, but when I tried them I couldn't have cared less for them.
