I am relatively immune to colors, but my partner on the other hand...
If it's for me, color doesn't much matter, if she might want to use it, color might sway a decision. So I guess we are a house divided.

Colour is quite important to me, so if I find a vibrator with good reviews, I will try and find a colour that I find sexy. Usually this is possible since I like red, some kinds of pink, and purple, but I definitely want to find something bright green! If a vibe (or any other toy, for that matter) is only available in some baby pink or something, it's a no-go.

It depends. I buy more based on design. Color can make a design look better, but I guess it's not usually a deciding factor.

Yeah, I'll second that. Having two roommates can make alone time hard to come by... It sometimes has to happen at weird times.

But, color selections don't hurt. I prefer having more color selection if applicable. I love color!! Pink, purple and black kinda get old fast.

I hate pink. There, I said it.

Color is very influential for me, from clothing to food to toys. I like rich vibrant blues and purples for plastics, natural skin tones for dildos, black and white and royal blue for lingerie.

Color does matter - but it's pretty low on the list of priorities. I have purchased toys that I didn't care for the color of - if everything else was on target.

Yes. If I don't get it in a color I'll like, it's going to subconsciously bother me until it gets fixed. I don't know why, but that's how I am. If I have no choice, though, then I'll just deal with it.

Some toys come in really pretty colours (teal!), and that fact alone makes me want them. I would never buy a toy purely because of its colour, but it definitely impacts my decision enough to vote yes here.

This is somewhat true for me as well. Although a vibe would have to be something really special for me to get in it in a color I dislike. Like, the iRide, i'd get in spite of it's Pepto-Bismal pink color.

It shouldn't, but especially pretty colors do add to the lure, and I will sometimes hold out for my favorite color choice in a particular item. As for example, the Fun Factory Tiger -- I have my heart set on red, and it's been out of stock forever. With some items, I might have given up and gone with the black by now, but I really like that one in red, so I'll wait.

Damn it, I need a maybe!

If it comes in a color I don't like, I won't buy it. However, the only color I don't like a sex toy to come in is skin tone. Any of them. Brown, beige, peach, whatever. It squicks me out. Feels like I'm holding a dead penis.

I'm considering getting over it, though. I really wanna try a Vixskin toy, and most of the ones I'd like to try only come in skin tone.

I don't really like skin tones either, and deliberately choose toys that can't double as human skin tone colours! The holding-a-dead-penis feeling is also why I can't bring myself to get a realistic looking dildo, even if it's in an outrageous colour like sky blue.

A big part of getting turned on is looks and if i don't like the way a toy looks (especially flesh tone!) it makes it harder to get aroused. I'd rather reach for an aesthetically pleasing toy so it's not a detractor from my pleasure.

I have a white anal toy on my wishlist. Doesn't seem like it would be any grosser than when shit gets on my black dildo. It's visible either way. And it doesn't gross me out that much, anyway.
