Does the color of a vibrator affect your decision to purchase it?

Well I'm not keen on shit on MY white toy. But 'tis a matter of opinion, I reckon.

I voted no but a lot of my toys are purple. If I seen a toy I really wanted it would have to be a very ugly color for me not to buy it.

If a toy is particularly ugly, it doesn't really appeal to me and I look elsewhere. That doesn't happen often, though.

I like my toys to be bright and pretty. If they aren't appealing to my eyes then I have a hard time getting excited over them.

I don't think about color all that much...but I suppose I wouldn't want something that was a really disgusting color.

Certain colors on toys just appeal to me more. Thinking about my toys, I have a tendency to grab a toy that looks attractive to me.
I only prefer dark color toys for anal play, not necessarily black but purple is OK but not white.

I know, right? That thing is hideously pink...but so damn interesting looking. Sigel has threatened to paint eyeballs on it, I have no idea why!

Mrs. Peg has a particular aversion to the oh-so-popular pink sex toy...My preference is purple for some reason, although I do favor a matte black as well.

I usually like to get pink vibes but if there is no pink available it won't stop me from purchasing a toy I really want. Sometimes I like colors different from pink bcs they are new generic colors that are not similar to any other toys.

Agreed!!

I voted yes but it depends.

I color i don't like won't stop me from buying a toy but a color I do like can make me what the toy. I order the avatar Fleshlight and limited edition green Fleshlight in part due to the colors and I have a toy coming to me I requested just because of the color. i can't think of any examples with vibrators specifically but the same principle applies.

Right now it does. I am very particular about my pink toys.

I had to put yes mainly because it's factored in with all my other reasons for deciding to buy a toy. If I'm at a store and see a lavender toy on the shelf I'll walk away from it because I can't stand another light purple toy. If I'm online reading reviews and it comes in other colors I'll stay with it. So color will effect my thought patterns but usually you can get around it. If a toy has good reviews and only comes in the one color it'll really depend on how much I want the design and what I feel it will be able to do for me. If it's a great toy then color won't matter in the end.

Definitely. And considering her favorite color is red, most of the toys I buy her are red or variations to red (like pink).

I don't care at all what color my toys are, so long as they do it for me!

I voted no, but I have to agree with others who said that if it was a really horrible color I might think twice. I do enjoy when there are different colors to pick from, though.

definitely not, that would be silly! i think if you really really like the design and how it works for you then a nice color is an unneeded (but appreciated!) plus

When it comes to realistic dildos though I will prefer one color usually the beige/caramel color and not the lighter or darker brown ones. I don't like the black ones as they seem so unrealistic, if the toy is unrealistic it doesn't bother me at all (ex: VIP).

I voted no, but if there are choices, I definitely pick the most appealing one to me.

Heh, I laughed at this comment because pink is my "particularly horrific color."

Usually, if a toy comes only in pink it will deter me from buying it. However, I just made a noteworthy exception for the (sadly discontinued) O2 Rascal...one of the few sites I could find that still had it in stock had it only in pink, so I just sucked it up and bought the pink one. I really wanted the toy, and that was the only way I could get it, so I'll have to deal with the color. :p

I don't like flesh colored toys, or anything obnoxiously bright. Well, I like them, but the easier they are to hide, the better!

Not really no. I think it can be somewhat of a turnoff if it's horrible to look at... but just like a mate... if it makes you feel good that trumps looks anyday.

Some toys come in really odd colors that make them...hmmm... creepy? to look at. Lol. If it's something I'd rather not see, if can hinder the mood a bit.

I really don't like "realistic" toys, so flesh tones are out. The appearance of a toy definitely effects if I but it or not, but colour's just one part of appearance. I am more likely to get something if it has an awesome colour though.

sort of. if it's a really pretty color, yes, i'll want to/do buy it. but if it's a color i'm not really fond of, but it's cheaper than the color i want, i'd rather get it instead..

actually, depends on how much cheaper..if it wasn't much of a discount, i'd go with the color i wanted.
