Does the color of a vibrator affect your decision to purchase it?

I guess it matters more to me than I thought, I'm avoiding buying 2 purple dildos because I tend to call them by color >.<

Yes! Everytime I see it I want to think "OMG, I have great taste!"

Size, shape, and noise level all come before color for me. That said, if there are color options available for a toy I pick out, I'll intentionally get a color I haven't had before. He just grabs whatever the default option is.

I have often seen that the best toys have colors that would be to most people's liking. For example, pink, light green, purple, etc. Colors that not many will turn down. You don't see a lot of really ugly vomit green toys out there being sold - but I have seen a few. There are some silicone dongs that are just disgusting, and have some sort of metallic swirl and it just looks like it isn't safe to put inside of you.

I honestly toys that look discreet, with colors that blend in to other items that I own. I have a makeup brush set that is all black, so I used to buy mini vibes that were only black. I would then keep them in my makeup case. I had a roommate that was a little nosy, and she would find my realistic dongs all the time. I honestly hated it because I love the feeling of a pronounced head of a dick popping inside of me. But now I stick to toys that look nothing like a cock. So no skin-like colors. Tan, brown, etc.

I am more likely to buy things that are purple or black (if they are not made of glass). I am a glass fanatic, and most glass toys are multi colored. I do find the rainbow colored glass toys to be unattractive.

One reason that color may be important is that toys need to match your personality. You want to feel good and look good, inside and out. Even if people don't know it. The same reason some women correct their breasts through surgery, or buy fancy underwear even though no one is going to see them.

I love pink and neon colors, or black toys. I made an exception for my Hitachi wand. If it's a great toy, I just don't care about the color.

I prefer pink toys, but if it looks like an awesome toy and doesn't come in pink, I'll consider buying it still.

I don't pick out pink toys and try to avoid purple ones. I've never used a flesh-colored one, either. I may be getting over being creeped out by realistic toys. I'm not sure yet.

Mostly, I am satisfied with the color choices given to me, but if it only comes in one or two colors and I don't like either of them, and I mean... if they are just truly god-awful to me, I will not want to purchase it.

I tend to like purple when it is available for most everything but dildos I'm to be pegged with, then I want realistic as possible. Sometimes pink is preferred over purple, depending on the toy. I can't explain it, but if it makes me feel good mentally I just go with it.

It would have to be the only color choice and the toy would have to be quite wonderful for its purpose before I would go with green or copper. Again I don't know why, but I've seen toys of those colors and they were complete turn-offs.

I do have some preferences for colors but it is certainly not the sole deciding factor. My prettiest toy is in fact my most disappointing sad to say. I look for reviews, noise level, performance ... and hopefully they have a color I really like.

Yes, color matters if I'm going to part with hard earned cash for it. With so much selection out there, why settle for a color you don't like?

Although, I once ordered a vibe from Amazon in a particular color and they sent me a different one by accident. But the other color was tolerable, and I was just so happy to see it that I didn't care enough to return it.

Also I fail to care that the free vibe I got from EF is white. I don't usually go for white toys, but once again it's a tolerable color and getting it for free changes everything.

It's not a deciding factor, but vibrant colors are definitely a plus.
