Is the bullet material the same as on the free eden bullet you get for signing up for their newsletter? Because I'm not crazy about that.

Same. I do enjoy the controller more than the bullets. It was compatible with another toy I have, the controller for that one only had one plug-in slot and only 3 vibration speeds - so the patters and option to plug in a vibe and a bullet at once is great for me.
