I keep coming back to the Astrovibes Cancer vibrator because I find it adorable. The shape and size are nothing special, and at least one review says you don't feel the texture during use, so there is no reason I should want this... except... it's so cute!

Has anyone else here ever bought a sex toy just for looks, with little or no intention of using it?

I've definitely bought a few things because they were cute. I try not to very often, but if I've got spare points, commission, gift cards, whatever when I'm making a purchase, I'll sometimes add on something that's just kinda cute to see how I like it. I'm bad, and I do it on a fairly regular basis, lol

I think a lot of my decisions are based on what I find aesthetically pleasing. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but I would look at reviews and weight the cost.

I really try not to get drawn into the looks. I love colors so it is really hard for me lately. I try and read all reviews and even look them up on the web and I buy more for how much I believe it will be used. Now there is one that has bad reviews but she is still in my wishlist. Who knows maybe I will run out of items one day and just get it.

I tend to be a function focused consumer so I buy what I think will work (and it's a bonus if it's a cute product to boot!) That said, I won't tell you how to spend your dough so if you want to buy something for it's fun factor, go for it.

I've bought toys that had function AND were cute. Although my idea of "cute" may be different than most people's. I bought the Orion Plug of Lust butt plug because I thought it was "cute."



It served me well, until I outgrew it.

Personally, I'm not fond of sex toys that look like children's toys. But, everyone has their taste.

Not yet, but I am tempted. While looking around on the web I saw Love Bunnies on Babes in Toylands site. I am a sucker for a bunny item, no shock there I'm sure. But these look so cute, I instantly came back here to see if we had them. I'd love to see them here, it's very cute. Love Bunnies

Me too! I requested the Love Bunnies in the last Eden Should Carry. I'd buy these in a heartbeat, just because of the cuteness factor. If it doesn't work well at least it would look cute on a desk and no one would know what it is.

That being said I bought the SinFive Eve for the cute factor. I really liked the design and Fall is my favorite season. When the watch battery dies I won't be replacing it, but I don't regret buying it. It wasn't expensive and I gave it a try. I think as long as the price is reasonable it's okay to take a chance every now and then on something cute or fun looking.

one factor that i consider is aesthetics, which usually means cuteness/ prettiness for me. most of my toys do fairly well

Ohhhh, how cute! I want one!!!!

I haven't bought a vibe cause it was cute, but I have bought a few anal toys cause I LOVED the way they look.
And I haven't tried them yet..... only had them 3+ months. I like to admire them cause they aren't really the type of toys I go for when it comes to anal. But I have good intentions for them - one day.

Probably a pretty good sign that ya have plenty (I won't say too many - no such thing....hehe) of toys, when there are more than a handful not used yet.

Okay I have to say the bunnies I might would buy for cuteness alone. That is really the cutest toy ever. Oh and to add to what I said before I have bought one toy out of cuteness. I have the I rub my duckie. In purple and I still have the yellow one in my wish list. Too darn cute to pass up.
