Fun Factory Click "n" Charge effective for you?

Contributor: Stinkytofu10 Stinkytofu10
I recently got a Fun Factory Yooo and I've been having problems with the magnetic charging. I find the "click" of click n' charge to not actually snap onto the "F" and the "N" of the FUN factory logo on the toy. When it does attract magnetically, the attraction isn't strong enough for the weight of the charging plug, and I see rapidly blinking, dim lights on the charging plug instead of the steady, bright red charging light I am supposed to see. I find that I have to adjust it numerous times, and secure the plug (with tape) for it to get a steady, effective charge. If I bump into the toy or charging wire at all, the charging light indicates weak connection again.

Anyone else have this problem with Fun Factory toys?

I think if they merely put two indentations that fit the shape of the two magnets on the charging plug, this issue would be solved. Unfortunately there's no such indentation on the "F" and the "N" so I keep getting spotty charging.

Are you charging it with the FUN logo facing up? Place and steady the wire over something of a similar height as the Yooo, that might help.

Thus far I only have one Click 'n' Charge toy (the Bubbles), and while it will come loose if jostled too much, it hasn't really been a problem and it stays put just fine if left alone. I'll be getting another one soon, so we'll see if it's any better or worse.

On my FOU, I have noticed that I have to place everything *just so* for it to have a solid connection. But if I can set it up right somewhere, and then not bump it at all, it usually does pretty good.

Sounds finicky too bad I just added one to my wish list yesterday I may have to rethink it.

Let me rephrase my words:
While the magnetic charger is attached to the Yooo (with the FUN logo facing up), balance the wire over something with a similar height to the Yooo (paperbacks?), steady it with another paperback to keep the wire in place so it won't pull/drag the magnetic charger off the FUN logo, that should solve your problem.

Depends on the toy, the Cobra Libre seriously has that problem but it works great with the duke.

I have this problem with my Big Boss but not my other Click 'N Charges. I have to prop it up on something to get it to charge. It's a pain.

Thanks for all of your input, I will try propping up the charger with some books to level it. I do think the Click n' Charge would benefit greatly from a simple redesign with indentations for the two nodules.

Fun Factory still hasn't fixed there click and charging issue. We currently own Cobra along with 4 other G4 vibes.
My advise is to use a extision cable, so the carger has no stress on the cord. make sure there isn't stress on the charging point either. Yes there a pain in the butt to charge, but worth it.
