HI I was wondering if you have ever used anything like the Fairy Wand? I have used the baby fairy wand but its tiny... the size of the larger ones kind of intimidate me ... what are your thoughts on them and should I get one?

Captivating topic discussions on Wand massagers:

Don Wands The Duchess: Blue vs. Pink?
So I'm in the market for my first glass dildo, and I love sooooo many of them, I can't choose one! One that I've been looking at is The Duchess by Don

heart massager
How does it heat up?

Tuyo – discreet massager
For those who have this or have tried it... Do you think it would be good for solo massages? I'm thinking shoulders, arms, thighs etc. I've been...

Prostate Massagers and The Super Orgasm
I guess the first big question I get asked all the time about these things are… Do these things really work? Absolutely yes, and in many ways too....

Envie ripple or massager
Envie ripple or smooth massager. Whitchone is better for stimulation?

I dislike most of them intensely. They're too strong, too big and they make my whole vulva - as well as my hands - feel numb.

Many folks love them, though!

I used the Wanachi Mini, which I really liked. Unfortunately it fell apart, it seems mine wasn't the only one either. I did contact Pipedream though and they seem eager to correct this problem!

I literally procrastinated forever about getting any kind of wand. I finally got the Hitachi, I am going to write a review (another) on it. I guess I would say it has a purpose in my toy world; glad I have it!

I have the same feeling.

I have an acuvibe mini. It's a little smaller than most and is also rechargeable. And from what I understand, it's not quite as powerful as the Hitachi, and I absolutely love it.

I have a Clit O Steel, so I love my Wahl 2 speed 7 in 1 and I like my Hitachi. I haven't tried the Fairys but people seem to love them a lot.

I think many women turn to wands when they need a really quick orgasm or if they are one who has difficulty with orgasm. I know I need my Wahl. It didn't used to be that way, but peri-menopause robbed me of my once hair trigger orgasm, replacing it with multiple orgasms, longer ones, but the first one is very difficult to get to.

We grab the Wahl (or once in a while the Hitachi) right as I get "there" and it gets me over the edge while he does other stuff. Then he goes down again, and he can keep the orgasm going for a LONG LONG time. I think our record is about 8 minutes. (HE looked at the clock. I was busy.)

I have the Hitachi, the Fairy Mini, The Fairy Rechargeable and the Ideal.

For corded, I like the Fairy Mini--but it does totally and completely make me numb, so you should bear that in mind. I HATE the ideal, and am probably going to throw it out. My favorite of them all is the Fairy Rechargeable (it doesn't seem to make me as numb as the full size fairy) but I, apparently, hate rechargeable so I don't use it as often as I should/could/would.

Good theing about them is you can use them to work out those sore muscles after a long day. They are dual purpose

I have yet to invest in one but I do have a mini rechargeable mystic wand on its way here (any time now.. like minutes even.. *calls out the window "where are you UPS guy?!"*)Now, i don't expect it to be as strong as the Hitachi but I know many that swear by it.

I have the rechargeable Mystic Wand, and it's way too strong for me to use directly. However, it's an excellent shoulder massager, and it also transmits vibrations through other toys quite well.

Absolutely. Fantastic as massagers.

I love the Wahl and the Mini Wahl as massagers - though standard, wand type like the Hitachi and Ideal are just too high frequency for me and even for regular massage make me itch.

Carrie Ann, I know your body is more sensitive than mine when it comes to things like this, but I have found that a bit of fabric between your body and the massager (no matter where you use it) can cut down on that "itch" that is caused by increased blood flow to the area.

I used a washcloth, nightgown or panties (before they all went right into the wash) or even a sheet for protection when I first started using the Wahl and the Hitachi. I use them bareback now, but some people use a bit of cloth even for back massages to prevent over stimulation of the blood vessels.

I know you have a lot of toys, I hate to see good massagers not be used. I think we all have things that we feel really happy about and these massagers are among my favorite sex toys and massage tools. My Man LOVES getting a massage with the "mix master" as we call the Wahl. I used fabric between his body and the heads of the tool until he got used to it.

Oh, you did say you love the Wahl. Yay!

I think they're really intimidating. I'm not all that well versed in massagers, but from what I do have I tend to thinks wands would be too intense for me...

I'm a clitoral stimulation person (mostly because I'm still a virgin and I haven't found anything that makes me feel comfortable about inserting it into my vag.) and I've been looking for something a bit stronger. I usually shop with Pure Romance, but I'm finding this site is just as good if not better and much more user friendly it seems. So, that being said, would anyone recommend something like this for a person like me?

I LOVE my wands. I have had the fairy mini, fairy rechargeable, and rechargeable mystic. I require clitoral stimulation to orgasm and find that the heads of the wands can give you a variety to push against. For a gal like me, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Are you intimidated by the size, or the intensity? If its the size, look at the smaller fairies. If its the intensity, I'd recommend the Mystic, as it doesn't come near the frequency of the wahls and larger fairies.

I have the Baby Fairy Wand - it's ok but the noise with living with family makes it difficult to enjoy it. When I do get the house to myself, I take the advantage....hehehe.

I also have the Mystic Wand Rechargeable. I didn't like the sharp groove edges but that's been solved by covering with a Tenga egg.

I have the Hitachi and the Fairy Mini wand, and I'm not crazy about either of them. For me, they're painfully strong. Plus, I prefer more pinpoint stimulation, and the heads on these just don't seem to work well with my body.

I had been considering getting a Hitachi, but they sounded like they'd probably be too powerful. So I got a rechargeable Mystic Wand. I love, love, love that thing! At the moment it's one of my favorites.

Some of the vibration levels are too strong, but I just skip over those. Also, it's loud enough that I don't use it unless I'm alone.
