Help me pick a present for my mum!

Contributor: Ryuson Ryuson
Heya! With Christmas just around the corner, I'm shopping for presents! I want to get my mum a new back massager, but I have some very specific things that I need in it!
-It won't heat up with use
-Pressure won't stop the vibrations
-NO sexual references on the box/massager!
-Cordless
Since I'm getting it with saved up Eden points, price isn't an issue here! Please give your suggestions and thoughts! Right now I'm considering the Acuvibe, but would love to hear what the community has to say!
Thank you so much!

The acuvibe is a really smart choice, then. I can't think of anything that would be better except for one of the wahl massagers (I hate mine, P'Gell adores her collection of them; different strokes and all that). The reason I hate mine is because it's really large and it's hard for me to hold and the vibrations are so deep it makes my eyes vibrate. No, I'm not kidding. LOL

Aack! I'll have to go look at those! My mum can't find any massagers strong enough for her! Thanks for the advice!

I love the Hitachi Magic wand as well. The long handle is great for reaching hard to reach places on the back. Very discreet as its true use is really a massager . Box is discreet as well. Hitacghi is also ultra strong.

Great choice with the acuvibe. Whatever you choose, I hope she likes it.

It just dawned on me that her issues with power might be because she wants cordless...maybe you could convince her otherwise. But, I know that cords are extremely annoying, so it might be a long shot! LOL Good luck and happy shopping!

Thanks everyone! She wants cordless so that she can lean on it when she has to drive a long ways in the car and also so that she can take it to work! (She works nights and is often the only one there, but she doesn't want to need an extension cord for her back massager!)

Yes, please get the AcuVibe rechargeable. It doesn't overheat, works wonderfully. Has a low and high setting, both give a great massage, and there are no sexual references on the box!

I don't own one, but when I lived with my old roommate before I married my husband my roommate got hers in the mail and she let me use it for my back almost every other night. It's really nice. I like it better than my Hitachi.

The only massager I have is the Hitachi, and it works great for massage and other purposes, but in terms of cordless massagers, I have been considering the Mystic Wand Rechargeable. it has good reviews and, well...it's rechargeable and made of silicone! On top of that, it has some cool vibration patterns.
