Depends on the toy. My Mystic wand I use all the time so batteries stay in, my Jopen intensity not so often so they are removed.

I always leave the batteries in so they are ready when ever I need them. I would say because I'm to lazy as well but that's not the case since I do take them out to wash them when I'm done. On another note though, my 3 year old son thinks its funny to stick batteries in his mouth so we don't leave them anywhere he could find them and get them so leaving them in the toys work also.

For my battery powered toys, I leave them out. I don't want to accidentally drain the batteries. But I'm trying to phase them out of my collection and switch over to rechargeables.

I learned the hard way to ALWAYS remove batteries!
I know it's a hassle, but removing the batteries will help the vibe last longer as it will not corrode it...
Just as you have to "condition" yourself to always clean your toys, you should also remember to remove batteries!!
