When you pick out a new toy how important is color? Will you turn down a toy that amazing in other ways but only comes in a color you hate?

I usually don't pay much attention to color myself but I have a friend for whom its more of an issue so i'm curious.

If a toy is a really ugly color and I'm not sure if I really want it, I won't get it. Same thing goes in reverse for something that comes in a really pretty color

I'd like to say I'm not picky about color, but I totally am. I don't like fleshtones on non-realistic toys (like the beige Super Big End) and don't like pure black toys. I prefer chocolate realistic dildos looks-wise despite not owning any. For non-realistic toys I am attracted to pink and purple. That said, I will get a toy in a color I'm not crazy about if the design looks awesome.

It's somewhat important. I won't pass by a toy because I don't like the colors but I'll be much more likely to buy a toy in a color I like.

Very, but it's not the MOST important. I can't stand toys that are hot pink and glittery/covered in butterflies/flowers, I like my toys to either look gender neutral and fun or sleek and classy. I've definitely passed up a few toys because I couldn't stand the colors, but there's a few that only have 1 option and if I really really want the toy, I'll deal with a bad color. For example; I wanted a We-Vibe Tango but I HATED the pink, baby blue and purple colors that Eden carries, so I waited nearly a month for the Salsa to come back in stock XD I'm glad I waited, I'm much happier with the sleek black Salsa than I would have been with a super feminine colored Tango, they've got the same motor anyways. I've definitely passed up a LOT of "panty vibes" (brief vibes in my case) and clit pumps because they're ALL butterfly shaped and hot pink/glittery :/ I'd be totally fine with the glitter if they weren't colors I hate haha

Pretty colors are nice, but if a toy is incredible I wouldn't pass on it just because I didn't like the color.

It was in the beginning, but not as much now. If I like the color, great, if the toy seems amazing and I don't like the color, it's not going to pull me away from it.

Function is always first, but colors are super important to me!
