I do have issues with the girth as well. When I had my hysterectomy, they removed the cervix and 3/4" below it then sewed my vaginal top up. This seriously shortened me and while being shorter has nothing to do with girth, per se, the dilators and extenders I had to use have made me unable to take larger girthed items. I have started a couple of them and can eventually do it, but am trying that for rare occasions. It just hurts too much afterward.

Usually I prefer toys with 5 inches girth, but I can still tolerate ones that are slightly bigger than that; the only item that I wish has a smaller version is the Eleven, I LOVE the shape and design of that dildo, but 6 1/2 inches is just too much for me!

5 1/2 to 5 3/4 inches in circumference is about perfect for me for a dildo. A hard toy, like glass or wood, can be much smaller and still feel terrific though. I'm more likely to not consider a toy because it's too small rather than because it's too big.

5 inches in circumference is ideal for me too. I tend to pay more attention to the circumference measurement as well. I notice that the diameter measurements are less accurately reported.
