Jelly Deformation?

It is my experience that jelly toys just deteriorate really fast...the heat may have sped up this process though. I do know heat can cause more phthalates to leak out of jelly. It probably just kind of melted on you a little. I would have to say you should go ahead and get a new one or better yet, find a comparible toy in silicone! Silicone can be boiled so, heat shouldn't be an issue with it at all! It always sucks when one of your favorites melts. less

Well I loved this little bugger and it came at a bargain so I suppose I can't complain too much. But I whipped it out for play tonight only to find that the jelly seems to have dented and deformed itself on the lovely bulbous head. I had it in a pocket next to my turbo glider and I suspect with some heat and pressure, that's the culprit that did this. It has very odd dents/suctionish things on it now.Is this prone to happen to jelly toys? Could it have been the California summer heat? I would like to prevent this from happening in the future.But in case people are wondering, this a toy I would glady invest in again. less
