MiMi Charging

I've used my Mimi less than a dozen times, followed the care instructions exactly, and suddenly it refuses to charge. The light doesn't come one when connected to the charger or anything. I'm near tears over the death of my favorite toy. Has anyone else had this problem? For the price, I expected a longer lifespan.

First I have to ask the redundant question of "are you 100% positive the charging cord is plugged in right?"

Then I'm going to say that that isn't normal and shouldn't happen and if you bought it from here to submit a support ticket and try to get it exchanged.
